Kids everywhere went wild for this latest artisanal trend, and home makers made extra Christmas money by offering this cottage industry service. Soon, larger companies caught on and began to develop higher-end ornament designs specifically to be personalized.

Today, you can find Christmas ornaments personalized in 100s of design themes. Not only are baby ornaments popular, but sports ornaments have become all the rage. A football ornament might show a kid's name, jersey number, the year, and even the name of the team he or she played for. You can buy a Christmas ornament personalized for a new home; to mark the occasion of an anniversary or wedding; or even to show the growth of a family over the years from the first baby to a family of 5 or 6. Indeed, ornaments Christmas personalized have become all the rage as a intimately personal gift that shows you went the extra mile and really cared about what the recipient received for Christmas. The Infamous Office Christmas Party: Batten Down the Hatches!

As we enter that thoroughly miserable period of the year where the nights are at their longest and winter seems to be stretching for millennia ahead of us, many people simply love the prospect of Christmas and all of the fun and frivolity that this can bring. Indeed, there are some who claim that Christmas was strategically placed at this time of the year in order to lift the spirits of the citizens and cut down on the number of suicides - honestly, I kid you not!.

One of the highlights of the work calendar is the annual Company Christmas parties , and this is the perfect excuse to let your hair down and socialise with your colleagues in a way that would usually be completely anathema to you. Yes, I use the word anathema because all too often, people act completely differently once they have gulped down a few glasses of punch and end up getting up to antics that fill their minds with total dread the morning after.

You can just imagine it, things like: Oh no, not the stationery cupboard, or, God help me, I never did that with the flipping boss! Then after the festivities are over, how many people return to work and worry about seeing a crisp P45 form sitting on the desk of their boss? (more...)

Why Christmas is so Important

We all enjoy the holidays which is why when Cristmas comes around each year we all get excited. Cristmas is the time of year where we can all reflect on everything that happened over the past year and spend time with family and friends.

In addition to that a lot of families use this as a time to remember God and other religious figures. It does not matter what your beliefs are, Christmas is a time of year for celebration and reflection.

A lot of people, mostly children, think of gifts this time of year. As parents we always need more info on the latest toys and games in order to ensure that our children get what they want. (more...)
